Our Story

Double Diamond Racing started back in 2001 when my son was racing Amateur Motocross in the KX65 Class. It was a way to get some sponsorship.
However, over the years, DDR has progressed to developing unique aftermarket products for avid Off-Road Motorcycle Riders. I have worked on several types of Off-Road Motorcycles, 2 and 4 strokes. Because of my mechanic skills I have been given the name, “Head Monkey” as a joke with my Riding Group, “Step it Up”, as the guy who always fixes everyone’s bike and does the needed “MacGyver” work on the trail to keep a bike running. Locally I work on rebuilding Shocks and Forks.
One of the big issues on all Off-Road Motorcycles is cooling issues. Most Off-Road Bikes and some Dual Sports do not have a Coolant Recovery System. I have used most of the aftermarket Coolant Recovery Systems that are currently out there and found that they either did not work very well, were too bulky and hard to mount, or just too expensive for the average rider. This is why I developed the DDR-Coolant Recovery Tank. It is simple, easy to install, with it's Plug and Play design and it is priced with the average rider in mind. I first used it on my KTM 500 EXC and it has worked well for over three years without incident. Most everyone in my riding group has one their bikes. It is a product that all Motorcycle should have.
We have expanded to selling an EFI Capacitor, KTM/Husqvarna/CR/YZ Clutch Brake Protector and a Modular Riding Pack by WolfPak Designs.
